Why TinyPivots exists
The best ideas in psychology are buried — split across books, podcasts, talks, and clinical practice that rarely sit on the same shelf. Most online attempts to surface them either flatten the nuance, drop attribution, or treat psychology as a conversion lever.
TinyPivots is a different kind of library. It treats frictions — the actual moments when you're stuck — as the connective tissue, and maps them across three traditions: behavioral design, organizational psychology, and clinical / relational practice.
The Translator Rule
Every concept on this site comes with two voices: the author's original framing and a plain-English translation. You can flip between them on any pivot. We do this because nuance and accessibility are not enemies.
Strict attribution
Every pivot points back to a specific book, chapter, podcast episode, talk, or paper. We drive traffic to the authors, not away from them. Living experts can claim their profile and shape what readers see.
What's next
Saved playbooks, community submissions of how you ran a pivot in the wild, an opt-in spaced-repetition digest, and a verified-author program. If you want any of that sooner, tell us which one.
